On December 27, 2020, a new law was enacted that includes changes to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The SBA's PPP page contains the latest information about the PPP and Scratch has following these developments closely and updated our applications to reflect these new changes for all of our borrowers.
If you have a First or Second Draw PPP loan of $150,000 or less, you can log into your account at my.scratch.fi to complete and submit your simplified loan forgiveness application. You are eligible to use the new simplified Form 3508S because your loan is $150,000 or less, so your application will reflect the SBA’s latest updates to loan forgiveness, including:
- No requirement to submit documentation for payroll and nonpayroll costs
- New categories of nonpayroll costs are eligible for forgiveness
- Covered periods can now end any day that’s between 8 and 24 weeks after your loan disbursement date
If you have a First or Second Draw PPP loan larger than $150,000, you can log into your account at my.scratch.fi to complete and submit your loan forgiveness application. You will use either Form 3508EZ or Form 3508 for your forgiveness application, based on how you answer certain questions when you start the application. You can learn about the different forms here. These applications will reflect the SBA’s latest updates to loan forgiveness, including:
- New categories of nonpayroll costs are eligible for forgiveness
- Covered periods can now end any day that’s between 8 and 24 weeks after your loan disbursement date
